Lab Tour ‘Recerca en femení’

Beyond 8-M and the Women’s History Month, it is important to continue vindicating the contribution and role of women in the field of research.

From this starting point and with this commitment, members of the Institute of Complex Systems of the University of Barcelona (UBICS) are organizing a new edition of the lab tour ‘Recerca en femení’ on Wednesday, April 2.

The main objective of this initiative is to make known first-hand and on the ground the research of female doctoral students and researchers of the Faculty of Physics of the University of Barcelona. In this way, the aim is to highlight the work they carry out, by taking an educational tour of the laboratories and offices where they work. In addition, it is also a space for the exchange of experiences where female doctoral students and researchers will briefly share the essential points of their research projects.

The visits begin at 2 pm and will take place in room 3.20 of the Faculty of Physics (c/ de Martí i Franquès, 1-11, Pau Gargallo entrance). The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, after which a light snack will be offered to the attendees, providing a new chance to share experiences and reflections on the doctorate and the research work.

This activity is aimed at Physics students, you just need to register through this form. Participate!
