Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (MSCA IF) 2020 at CRM

Excellent international postdoctoral researchers interested in applying to the European Commission Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (MSCA IF) 2020 call to carry out a research project at one of the following CRM groups:

MSCA Individual Fellowships offer the successful candidates a full-time contract to work on a research project and enjoy advanced training up to 24 months. The programme provides a competitive salary, mobility and family allowances plus a budget for research and training costs.

Selected candidates will be supported by the CRM staff to co-write and develop the joint proposal. Supported candidates will be informed by 30th May 2020 of the next steps up to the submission (training, reviews, etc).

REQUIREMENTS:

-Experience: The candidates should have obtained, before 9th September 2020, a doctoral degree or be able to prove four years of full-time equivalent research experience;

-Mobility: For an European Individual fellowship the applicant should not have studied or worked in Spain for more than 12 months between September 2016 and September 2019. If you are interested in a Global IF, which offers a contract by a third country (non-European) institution followed by one-year return period at CRM, you should have spent more than 12 months in Spain between September 2017 and September 2020.

Juan de la Cierva–2019 Training Aids for Labour Contracts

The Juan de la Cierva-Training helps to encourage the employment of young doctors for a period of two years in order to complete their postdoctoral research training in Spanish R&D centers other than those in which they carried out their work as predoctoral training. Candidates must meet the requirement of being a doctor and having obtained a doctorate between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017 for the general access shift, and between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2017 for the access time for people with disabilities equal to or greater than 33 percent, except if they prove a cause of interruption according to the call

The participation requests are presented by the R & D centers, including the candidate researchers for their incorporation into the research teams. The selection is based on a process of competitive competition of the candidates based on their curricular merits and on the scientific-technical record of the research team in which they wish to integrate, giving special relevance to those merits related to the tutor researcher.

Grants for the incorporation of postdoctoral research staff into the Catalan science and technology system, within the Beatriu de Pinós programme (BP 2016)

The purpose of the Beatriu de Pinós programme is to award 60 individual grants for the hiring and incorporation of postdoctoral research staff into the Catalan science and technology system.

All universities, research centres and hospital foundations located in Catalonia can benefit from this grant. Technology centres, technological activity support centres and technology dissemination centres are all excluded from this call.

MARIE CURIE

Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions - Research Fellowship Programme

The Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions, named after the double Nobel Prize winning Polish-French scientist famed for her work on radioactivity, support researchers at all stages of their careers, irrespective of nationality. Researchers working across all disciplines, from life-saving healthcare to 'blue-sky' science, are eligible for funding. The MSCA also support industrial doctorates, combining academic research study with work in companies, and other innovative training that enhances employability and career development.
